The Machame Route – the Whiskey Route – combines Kilimanjaro's finest scenery with a strong acclimatization profile. Day 3 climbs to Lava Tower at 4,630 m then descends to Barranco – the climb high, sleep low strategy that drives 85–90% summit success rates.
Day 4 brings the Barranco Wall – a thrilling hands-on scramble – before Barafu high camp. Midnight summit via Stella Point to Uhuru Peak, descent to Mweka Camp, and certificate at Mweka Gate on Day 6. Camping throughout with full crew support.
