Please read our booking terms carefully before confirming your safari or trekking reservation.
Clear, honest terms so you know exactly what to expect when you book with Wild Gaze Safaris. We work with lodges, camps and park authorities across Tanzania — many require advance payment and apply their own cancellation rules. We always do our best to find a fair outcome for everyone.
Straightforward and fair — please notify us as early as possible if your plans change.
Written notice received at least 60 days before your start date. Up to 70% of amounts paid may be refunded, minus non-recoverable deposits already committed to lodges, camps, park fees and other suppliers.
Up to 50% refund, depending on what our accommodation and transport partners can release. Some suppliers do not refund at this stage.
No refund if we are not notified in good time. By this point lodges and camps are usually fully prepaid and cannot release rooms — we cannot recover those costs.
Wild Gaze Safaris acts as your booking agent: we reserve and prepay accommodations, park entries and services on your behalf. Each partner has its own terms. We negotiate on your behalf where possible and will always explain your options clearly before any decision is final.
A binding contract begins when we receive your booking request and deposit. A 50% deposit confirms your safari. Some suppliers require higher deposits — we will tell you at booking.
The balance is due 30 days before travel. Late payment may be treated as cancellation and standard refund rules apply.
If you need to change dates, contact us as soon as possible. Transfers depend on lodge and camp availability and may incur supplier fees or rate differences. Early notice gives us the best chance to rearrange without penalty.
We cannot guarantee changes within 30 days of departure, but we will always try to help.
If we cancel or materially change your trip due to our error, we take full responsibility and will offer a fair remedy — rebooking, credit or refund as appropriate.
From first enquiry to return home, a dedicated consultant manages your arrangements.
We book hotels, lodges, camps, airlines and ground operators as your agent. Each is an independent business with its own policies.
We select partners we trust and know personally. If a supplier cannot deliver, we will offer alternatives of similar standard wherever possible.
Tell us at booking about dietary needs, mobility requirements, allergies or any special arrangements — in writing via your consultant or travel agent.
Advance notice helps us tailor your safari and avoid surprises in the field.
